Our Ministry Team

Chapel of the Hills is a discipleship ministry cooperating with the Buncombe Baptist Association.

Chaplain
Vaughn Benner

Chaplain Benner is a retired Army chaplain. He was the Task Force chaplain for a large combat unit in Iraq, then served as a Family Life Chaplain,  the primary counselor for several major Army Reserve units and on Active Duty at a training base.

For much of his military career, Chaplain Benner trained junior chaplains and chaplain candidates for effective ministry.

Chaplain Benner has a passion for teaching the Bible and mentoring new leaders for the ministry.

Future Team Member

We are actively looking for ministry team members.

Theological training is great, but Chapel of the Hills is a ministry focusing on mentoring and training future pastors, ministers, and chaplains. "Theology with hands and feet!"

Future Team Member

As we grow, Chapel of the Hills will be adding staff who are passionate about discipleship and hands-on ministry.

We are engaged in counseling and disaster relief, as well as veterans ministries.

This is our home.

Perhaps it's yours, too!
